Benderlink is Windows software that allows the electronic connection of Chiyoda and KEINS CNC benders to measuring centers and other computers. STANDARD TCP/IP NETWORK Because of the network capability of Benderlink, all connections use standard Ethernet cables. This means that your bender can be placed wherever Ethernet cables are run. In most modern plants, Ethernet connections can be easily extended everywhere. WIRELESS CONNECTION Customers can also choose to purchase an additional wireless Benderlink Modules that communicate through a standard WiFi Network PC-BASED STORAGE The software allows for the storage of bender data on the Benderlink hard drive. Data can be both RECALLED and SENT. Benderlink also allows for all 20 channels to stored as one "Block" CORRECTIONS LOOP The software also supports full corrections loops between the measuring center and each bender. COMMUNICATION WITH CONTROLS Benderlink for Chiyoda and Keins communicates with all types of controls
TRANSLATION LOGIC Sophisticated translation logic allows MQ41 operators to insert extra rows of avoidance moves in the FPB data without confusing measuring centers in corrections-loops. Data is correctly re-translated when sent to the bender so that the special avoidance moves are not disturbed. 180 Degree Bends Benderlink is the only bender to measuring center system that automatically handles the 180 degree bend problem when communicating with measuring centers. (Measuring centers cannot handle bends that approach 180 degrees.) Carriage Position Benderlink automatically positions the carriage when adjustments are made by the measuring center to the tube lengths. The communications with tube measuring centers is automatic. The only intervention required by the user in Benderlink is to select the Chiyoda or KEINS channel with which the tube measuring center is to communicate. (Chiyoda and KEINS benders have 20 channels in memory - each of which can hold a single part.) Another important function of Benderlink is that it is designed to make huge part storage of bender data very simple. |
