These bats are manufactured of injection molded plastic. They cannot warp. The pin holes will not enlarge. They will never wear out. The pin holes do not come through to the throwing surface, so your pot bottoms will not be marked. Also, clay cannot get into the holes, making it hard to get the bats on and off the pins. The “Easy Lift Rim” around the outside edge of all these new bats allows them to be easily lifted off the wheel head. So, you don’t have to use bats larger than the wheel head just so you can get your fingers under the edge for removal.
