Drinking Aid( To Help Dispense Liquids Slowly And Evenly)

Do you care for someone who has trouble swallowing liquids or cannot feed themselves? Do you need to give slow, controlled amounts of liquid at a time to someone you care for? Normally, these problems are handled by feeding with a syringe, but the device shown here handles liquid swallowing problems cleverly...and makes a pleasant alternative to dispensing liquids by syringe. This drinking device delivers fluid through a side port at the the bottom into a soft, silicone rubber drinking nozzle. The caregiver or nurse controls the flow of liquid to the patient by covering or uncovering an air-hole in the screw cap and squeezes the tube to control delivery of the fluid to the patient's mouth. Can be used for both hot or cold drinks. The top and nozzle can be unscrewed for washing and sterilizing. The reservoir holds 8 ounces of liquid. The tapered nozzle is 5.5 inches long, and can hold up to 1 ounce of liquid at a time. It is safe for home and institutional dishwashers. A great solution for a patient who has trouble swallowing liquids.
