Proper seating and positioning is important for children 6 months to 15 years old with or without special needs. When the trunk, pelvis, legs, and feet are supported safely and appropriately, it has been proven that a person’s ability to focus and attend to tasks improves greatly!
The Special Tomato® Height Right™ Chair is the perfect seating solution for children and teenagers at home, school, therapy or daycare center. The backrest is curved slightly to comfortably conform to the body’s natural shape. The Height Right™ Chair was specifically designed to offer secure positioning support for children and teenagers with mild to moderate physical involvement.
With the height and depth adjustable seat and footplate, the Height Right™ Chair assures a secure, comfortable fit for children of varying sizes at school, daycare, therapy or at home. The Height Right™ has also been designed with durability in mind, so it is sure to provide years of growth for children with special needs - eliminating the need for costly seating replacements. Easy to care for, the Height Right™ Chair can be safely wiped clean with mild disinfectants – perfect when using with multiple children.
The Height Right™ special needs Chair adjusts easily for positioning your child at varying table heights. The warm, stylish design of the Height Right™ Chair is evidenced by a smooth, natural, hardwood finish that is attractive, and helpful in encouraging social interaction with your child’s peers. An optional Wooden Tray can be added to the Height Right™ when used away from a tabletop surface, or additional trunk support is required. For increased cushion support along the back and seat platform, the optional Height Right™ Soft Touch™ Cushions can be purchased Soft-Touch™ Seat Cushion OR Soft-Touch™ Back Cushion .
