Tumble Form Strap Wedges
Strap Wedges are the same as the Adaptive Tumble Form Wedges, but have the added feature of two 4" wide fabric straps. Strap Wedges provide increased positioning flexibility and safety for those who are hypotonic and hyperactive. With the person stabilized, fine motor skills can be worked on with hands-free-independence.
Straps are permanently fastened to the wedge and are secured around the person by overlapping and pressing together. The Optional Leg Abductor helps promote hip abduction in prone position. The Abductor promotes symmetry while bearing weight on the trunk and knees.

Wedges 20" (51 cm) wide are the smaller series, and wedges 24" (61 cm) wide are the larger series. In selecting a particular size, we suggest you use shoulder width as a base measurement and allow for additional lateral support-blocking or sandbag support. Remember to consider extra width for a sense of security because the individual is above the floor plane.
Length selection should result in a surface long enough to approximately accommodate the body from sternum to the knees. Wedge height should be equal to or taller than a measurement from sternum to elbow.
