Engraving Option/Guidelines

Our goal is to provide good quality products and workmanship. If you have any special requests, please call us at 800-568-3398 and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Engraved items require an additional day for engraving therefore will take 4 days to process the order instead of 3 days. Please allow 1 extra day for engraving 1 to 3 items, 2 extra days for 4 to 8 items, and 3 extra days for 9 items or more. Please call us for time quote if there are more than 20 items. Choosing Fonts and Styles

Circle Monogram and Interlocking Monogram require 3 initials to be entered as First-Last-Middle.

Script, Victoria Outline, Century, Roman and Old English fonts will be engraved exactly the way the text information is entered on the order form. Engraved initials for these fonts will appear as First-Middle-Last. These fonts are not monograms: all of the initials will appear the same size and are considered “straight” initials.

We reserve the right to change the font style chosen by the customer whenever we deem that our choice will enhance the look of the result of engraving. When a font style is not selected by the customer, we will select one for you. You will not be notified by email or phone.

Specifying Engraving

Additional Letters Cost

Engraving for first names will appear in upper and lower case. There is no character carry over allowed to another item, even if the first item only has 3 characters. If you wish to enter more than 20 characters per item, please call us with your order: 800-568-3398.

If you want to order more than one piece, be sure to place quote marks before and after the text of each name you want engraved:

For Example: "Michelle 6-15-00" "Susan Best Friend" "Mary Bridesmaid" "Nichole & Tom June 15, 2000"

Or you can order each item separately and enter the engraving information individually for each item.

Names are engraved on the first line. All other text (i.e. dates) will be engraved on the second line.

REMEMBER for all monogram engraving the Last initial is in the center. We will assume that all initials entered is in the correct format.
First-Last-Middle when ever monogram style font is selected.

Specifying Engraving location**

Engraving will not appear exactly like it is pictured, in terms of size or look, or location of the engraving. It will appear similar to the item pictured. If you have a specific request, notify us by email info@americanbridal.com or fax (415-856-0363) with your order number. Requests must be in writing and not left on voicemail. All frames and albums are engraving vertically on the bottom unless otherwise instructed to us by client. Engraving is only in one area or location per item. There is a $2 charge Movement Charge when engraving on more than one location, such as top and bottom of a frame or both sides of a compact mirror.

To engrave vertically means that the photo frame is intended to be used in the standing position. (For example: 8X10, 5X7, etc.)

To engrave horizontally means that the photo frame is intended to be used on its side. (For example: 10X8, 7X5, etc.)

Placing your Order

It is your responsibility to enter the information correctly. We will engrave all text exactly as they appear on the order form. Be sure to take care on the words and names that need capitalization. If a name or word appears in all caps, we will engrave it all caps just like it appears on the order form.

If you discover after you have placed your order that you have entered the text or information in error, you must send an email to info@americanbridal.com to let us know of the changes you wish to make. You will receive an email confirmation from us acknowledging the new changes. Any changes must be made in writing. You may also fax us the changes with your order number to 415-856-0363. We will not be responsible for any changes left on our voicemail or unconfirmed emails.

We can only guarantee the accurate of spelling when the orders are placed via online or by fax. When placing engraving orders by phone, customer will be responsible any spelling errors.

Rush items will be charged an additional $10. Rush Fee
