New and existing Yahoo! Store users can now apply for a merchant account online with Paymentech.
Your application will be processed in 1-3 business days, and if your application
is accepted, that's all you have to do. Your new merchant account
will be automatically hooked up to your Yahoo! Store, and you'll be ready to process orders online.
To apply for a merchant account through your Yahoo! Store:
- Log into the Yahoo! Store Manager and click on Pay Methods, under
Order Settings.
- Click on Apply for Paymentech.
- Fill out Paymentech's online merchant application.
- Paymentech will notify you of acceptance or rejection in 1-3 business days.
- If your application is accepted, all you have to do is log into the
Manager and click on Publish, under Order Settings.

How much does it cost?
Paymentech offers great prices for online processing. There is no set-up fee, only a monthly service fee of $22.95. There is a $.20 transaction fee plus a percentage charge depending on the type of card (see their terms for details). The minimum term for a merchant contract is 6 months.
Yahoo! Store charges no additional fees for online processing; it is included in the regular monthly fees.
