Dizzy Gillespie - NYC - circa 1948 - DZ-1

A semi-regular at MiltonÕs studio in New York City as well as an occasional visitor to MiltonÕs studio in Weston, CT, Dizzy Gillespie would arrive at the end of the day, camp it up with the models finishing their assignments, relax over a drink with other guests whoÕd stopped by and occasionally ÒjamÓ with jazz greats such as Buddy Rich, Red Norvo, Charlie Parker, Gene Krupa and Gerry Mulligan. This photograph was taken in the late 40s.
