10 Tracks, 1994 Just before I made this recording, my mother passed away, so for me it’s filled with all kinds of memories. We recorded it in Dolby surround, which was rare at the time. I also remember that those 3D ‘stareos’ had just gotten popular. I think I started to develop a more refined, cinematic writing style around this time. ‘Ride into Midnight,’ ‘Pool of Radiance’ and the title track are still some of my strongest work. This was also the first time I sang, which met with mixed reviews, although ‘Far, Far Away’ is still one my personal favorites. Can’t please everybody, I guess! |
