King has done a masteful job in presenting the life and work of what he calls ‘the world’s greatest thinkers.’ Although other books in the same genre have been previously produced, this book has many unique and appealing qualities, including thinkers from different cultures and a generous recognition of the contributions of feminine thinkers. … The concise and clearly written description of the thinker’s life and ideas are just what a student or a layperson needs to gather an overview of the thinker’s life and intellectual contributions.” Joeseph P.
