Dear Candy Crate, I recently ordered from you and just wanted you to know how delighted I was not only with the candy and it's freshness but also the SHIPPING !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in Texas and it is hot here. I ordered licorice and your packaging gurus are extremely smart !! I did order the 2 day faster shipping with the ice pack - but what helped the candy arrive in tip-top shape (and this was for a gift) was the fact that you put each candy order in separate boxes - it was fresh and crisp ineach box upon arrival. The candy was a BIG hit - something the recipient had not seen since childhood - she was delighted !!!! I also ordered this same product from another candy company in your state - same 2 day faster shipping -same amount of product. But when IT arrived, I had one large melted glob of a mess - as all 5 lbs. of candy were combined in one plastic bag, shipped like that, and had melted together - and you couldn't tell what they were supposed to be! My first experience in purchasing via the internet came with Candy-crate.com. The site was informative, gave me the exact length, quantities and the price was excellent. I asked specifically that extra measures be taken in shipping so that they would arrive for our Christmas party of 250 people in excellent condition. I got a phone call from Customer Service an hour after my purchase stating that they had credited back money because they could ship my orde ground instead of Air & still get my product to me in time. They also questioned my flavor choice and made a quick correction that saved me anguish and time. The peppermint sticks arrived on the day specified in excellent condtion...all 320 sticks! I'm so thankful I found and used such a responsible, honest company that sells an excellent product
