Please note - arm chairs DO NOT ALWAYS FIT UNDER some tables. Most people use them as the "host chair" at the head of the table. We can measure the height of any arm of an arm chair for you to ensure it will fit if necessary. Please email or call. SHIPPING CHARGES: The minimum shipping charge as of Jan 2007 is $52 per box. The maximum is $70. These rates are UPS rates based on East Coast to West Coast. Therefore someone in the Midwest will fall somewhere in between $52 & $70 per box. Shipping charges are based on UPS rates for the United States. UPS bases their rates on your zipcode and size and weight of package. We do everything we can to charge you the most economical rate. (for example two side chairs usually fit in one box) We do not "mark up" shipping rates. It is possible Ups rates can change due to their ever changing rules. We try to keep the most up to date shipping info on this site. We are not always able to calculate the exact shipping charges (due to weight) at the time you place an order through this site. We will call or email shipping charges as soon as possible for your approval before we charge your credit card. When placing an order we do not charge your credit card until the order ships. That way we can double check your shipping charges and adjust the total - usually in your favor. California & West Coast residents especially- please call to inquire about shipping charges.
