Return Policies
Cowboy Outfitters guarantees that our products will be of the highest quality and workmanship possible and free from any defects. If you order a custom made item, that item is
being made just for you. While we will make every reasonable effort to make sure that the product fits you and you are happy with it, there can be no returns on custom goods (custom goods include our custom hats, boots, holsters, saddles, other leather goods and any specially sized or customized product). For non-custom items, the item should be returned within 10 days of receipt after requesting a return receipt code from Cowboy
Outfitters to receive a full product refund or store credit. To get a
return receipt code, please send a message to info@cowboyoutfitters.com.
If this product was damaged or defective in some way, Cowboy
Outfitters will refund the cost of shipping the product back to
us. If there was some other problem (wrong size, just didn't like
the product), then the customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance. No refunds will be made until we
receive the item back in salable (unworn and unused) condition
with all tags intact. In all cases, a return receipt code will be required on all
returns. Cowboy Outfitters may, on a case by case
basis, accept returns on items that have been kept longer than 10
days or lacking a return authorization. In these cases, Cowboy Outfitters reserves the right to
charge a 20% restocking fee of the original purchase price of the

Shipping Times
Regarding shipping times, we deal with small factories and our own craftspeople who produce high-quality goods in small quantities. We do try to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Orders are usually received within 5 to 10 business days, if the item is in stock. Out of stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks or longer. Exceptions are custom products, which may take from four weeks to four months to arrive, depending on the item and the time of year (production time for custom items should be included on each product page; otherwise, please feel free to email us with any questions). Some custom items may even take longer. We will keep you informed on the arrival date of your products and you may query
us at any time regarding the status of an order. We may be able to accommodate rush or immediate orders if you specify the date you need the item(s) by in the comments section at the end of the order form (please also indicate whether we should ship the item even if we cannot meet the deadline).

Shipping Methods There are two different shipping options available, Regular and Expedited shipping. We may use either United State Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEX) as the carrier. We do not specify which service is being used because there is the possibility that the item will be shipped directly from the factory and preferred carriers vary depending on where the factory is located; we also try to choose the most expeditious method of delivery based on when the item was ordered, the day of the week, and where the item is being shipped to. If you prefer to specify that a particular shipping method be used please send an email with the information. Following are the costs for Regular Shipping:

Expedited Shipping is available for an additional charge - under this method the product, once available, will be shipped via a faster delivery method. Expedited Shipping does not affect the production time, if there is one, it only specifies that a faster shipping method will be used when the item is ready to ship. Expedited Shipping does not mean "Next Day Shipping," but it will usually cover 2nd day shipping. If you prefer Next Day Shipping, please send an email.

International Shipping International orders will be charged an additional $25 shipping and handling fee. This is often enough to cover the extra shipping for international orders. In cases where extra shipping is required, we will contact the customer and provide the exact shipping cost before proceeding (this is due to the wide variance in shipping charges to different countries). International customers should enter the issuing bank of their credit card during the ordering process; otherwise we must contact the customer, slowing processing time. For legal reasons, we must accurately report the value of the item on the shipping forms. While we try our best to comply with all local laws regarding the importation of products it is the customers responsibility to insure that their purchase does not violate any local laws. Further, the customer is responsible for any customs, duties, etc., on the item. Please be aware that we will do everything in our power to get your order delivered to you as soon as possible but we have no control over how long your country's customs takes to process your package.

Any personal identifying information you provide to Cowboy Outfitters via the Internet or through any or other medium is for the
exclusive use of Cowboy Outfitters and Cowboy Adventures, Inc. We
will not sell this data or otherwise make it available to anyone
outside of Cowboy Adventures, Inc. without the permission of the
customer. We will maintain a database of customers in order to
make them aware of new products and services offered by Cowboy Outfitters and Cowboy
Adventures, Inc. Certain Internet partners may become aware of visitors' general online preferences in aggregrate, but they will not be given individual identifying information (data such as names, contact information and credit card numbers will not be released). Any questions regarding our privacy policy should be sent to info@cowboyoutfitters.com. We care about the privacy of our visitors and customers and we actively enforce this policy.

Security
All online transactions at Cowboy Outfitters are
handled with industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL)
encryption using the "Stronghold" secure server. In our opinion,
this is the best security program available on the market today.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is
transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form,
then decoded when it gets to us. Your credit card number is never transmitted by email or any unencrypted format. We have been able to find no
instances of security compromises using our software, which is
employed by many other leading online stores. Of course, there is
always a danger that unscrupulous people will find a way to
obtain credit card numbers, but with Cowboy Outfitters you are
safer than if you used your credit card in a store or restaurant.
