Dear Merchant,
On behalf of our whole team, happy holidays and thanks again for being a Yahoo! Store merchant. We wish you all the best this holiday season, and even more success in 2003.
Remember: Last-minute shoppers will be buying through the 24th, so it's not too late to boost your end-of-year sales figures. Here are some final tips for the holiday countdown:
- Be sure to offer overnight-shipping information for in-stock items that can be delivered before the 25th.
- Make shopping a snap. Highlight quick-decision gift ideas for different types of recipients, like mom, dad, the techie, the entertainer, the gourmet, and others on your shoppers' lists.
- To keep your holiday inventory moving, announce last-minute shopping specials and promote specific holiday gift ideas on the front page of your store.
- Consider a post-holiday sale. If you plan to offer discounts on your seasonal inventory in the end of December and beginning of January, start telling shoppers now!
Read on to learn more about online success and how to survive the holiday sales crunch.

Introducing Yahoo! Store Polls
You might remember, a few weeks back, seeing a Yahoo! Store Poll link in your Store Manager. Thanks to the more than thousand of you who replied to the question, "What is your primary method of processing orders?" The results are in! More than half the merchants who responded process orders online, using the Store Manager interface, while almost 25% of respondents receive store orders by email or fax, and process them on another system. Just under 20% export store orders to a different system for processing.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this poll! Keep your eyes out for new merchant polls coming soon to your Store Manager. If there's something you've always wanted to know about Yahoo! Store, please let us know. We'd love to hear your suggestions for future polls and surveys.
