Current Version of Rack2-Filer Software = Version 4. (Windows Vista compatible). The upgrade path information from Fujitsu Corporate: Version 3 users who purchased their software and have a proof of purchase invoice from their reseller or from Fujitsu can contact Fujitsu inside sales at Fujitsu Corporate for the upgrade (888-425-8228). If Version 3 was not purchased (a give away or sent as a rebate offer) then to obtain version 4, it must be purchased.

Use with a Fujitsu ScanSnap or "ANY OTHER FUJITSU -fi- Series" TWAIN compliant scanner to scan documents into binders. Will not work with ISIS driver scanners. If the Fujitsu scanner is not a Fujitsu ScanSnap, it must have Fujitsu TWAIN compliant software driver for the scanner to operate from the Rack-2-Filer software.

Rack2-Filer™ is a feature-rich scanning and digital data archiving application incorporating an ultra-intuitive user interface that gives users the benefits of what they love best about the paper world while harnessing the power and sophistication they depend upon within the electronic realm. Please understand that this is NOT AUTOMATED INDEXING but MANUAL INDEXING. Nor is it a multi-user product. However, for a single-user desktop solution, it is a very nice, affordable solution. This "life-like" data can then be viewed by flipping through "e-binders" with the simple click of a mouse. Furthermore, Rack2-Filer is also loaded with a vast array of editing functions that renders troublesome digital data management a relic of the past.

ANY SCANNER shipped outside the USA the manufacturer will void its warranty. Some customers do not care. They look at the exchange rate of the US dollar to their currency + shipping costs + securing a service contract within their country = a good deal for them. Other customers do not will not order for this reason. ALL INCOMING DUTIES, CUSTOM FEES, TAXES, ETC IS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER AT TIME OF DELIVERY WITHIN YOUR COUNTRY OR WHATEVER THE LOCAL POLICY/LAWS APPLY.
