| Terra Nova Story
Formerly known as The Body Shop from Berkeley, Terra Nova has been in business since 1970. Around that time, such renown fragrances as Rain, China Rain, China Musk and Pikake as well as extraordinary natural body care products were first created by Jane Saunders and other family members to mark a beginning of revolutionary and very successful natural body care business. The company changed its name to Terra Nova (meaning "new earth") in 1987 to avoid confusion with UK enterprise that also started using The Body Shop trademark.
