Remodeling: This fixture is designed for remodeling installation where the fixture will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. Integral thermal protector provides positive protection against over lamping.
Air tight housing prevents conditioned air loss through the recessed fixture which would normally allow up to 5CFM to escape into unconditioned space. A self sticking gasket completely seals the space between the light fixture and ceiling opening. Air tight housings also protect against moisture damage by eliminating condensation in cooler areas of your home due to escaping heat. air tight housings also reduce sound transmission between rooms, creating a quieter environment.
Installation: Unit is designed for remodeling applications. Entire unit slips through ceiling. Four remodeling clips secure housing in place and automatically adjust for different ceiling material thickness.
Electrical: Fixture is provided with wiring compartment for use with 75 degree Celsius supply wire. Ground wire included. Porcelain socket with nickel plated screw shell on adjustable socket plate.
