The battery is designed for exactly replacing inside battery pack for IRobot Vacuum cleaner. e.g Roomba APS 4905 battery.
- To replace inside battery, you need to take off 4 screws on the case, then put new battery with solid connection.
- Please make sure polarity of battery pack. Red wire is always connect to positive

Battery Installation Instruction:
Tools required: You need a triangle screw driver (included in the package) and flat screw driver, wood chisel and hammer to open top cover.
Step 1: Loose up all screws on the top cover of the Roomba Advanced Power System.
Step 2: Open and remove the top cover from the power system, which may be glued.
Use a wood chisel and hammer to gently tap on the seam, this will usually start to separate the lid from the base. Carefully insert a set of small flat head screwdrivers under the lid and gently lift the lid while moving the second screw driver forward, be careful at screw points not to crack the lid.
Step 3: Remove the old battery inside. Three are wires with metal contact connected inside. You can remove the wires by pulling up the contact or cut wires off.
Take a note of the wire connections
Step 4: Put new battery into the battery case and solder three wire back to metal contacts. Follow the note taken in Step 3 or the following details for re-wire:
- Red wire : battery positive - The red wire must go to the metal contact farthest away from the battery
- Black wire: battery negative - metal contact near battery
- White wire: temp sensor - metal contact on the side
Step 5: Put back the cover
