Import data for the Casual Living Imports Survey comes from records compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau from records of the U.S. Customs Service. They are based on dollar values declared by importers. The numbers are coded according to the Harmonized Tariff Code, refined and packaged by the U.S. Census Bureau and made available to Casual Living by the U.S. International Trade Commission.
