Pork Gyros

In a bowl mix the contents of 1 package of Knorr Basis für Gyros or Maggi Pfannen-Gyros with 1/2 cup water to make a marinade
Trim fat and any tough silver skin from approximately 1 pound of pork tenderloin and discard
Slice the tenderloin into thin (1/4 inch) slices and place into the bowl with the marinade
Making certain each piece of meat is well-coated
Place bowl, covered into the refrigerator for one hour
Heat a 4 tablespoons of oil in a skillet
add the meat and all the marinade to the skillet
Sauté the pieces of meat in the oil for about 5 minutes, turning the meat several times
Serve on a platter with Pita bread and
Tzatziki Sauce that has been enhanced (see below)
Garnish the plate or platter with lettuce, olives, peppers, etc.

Chef-enhanced Tzatziki Sauce

1 250 ml bottle of Knorr Tzatziki Sauce as a base*
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup finely diced cucumbers
Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
2 tablespoons finely minced onions or shallots
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Pepper & salt to taste

* if Knorr Tzatziki Sauce is unavailable (use 2 cups of yogurt, 1 cup of diced cucumbers and 6 cloves of garlic)
