Explores the Brethren in Christ core value of "pursuing peace" by considering peacemaking in a broad context. Attention will be given to responding to various expressions of violence such as domestic violence, racism, and injustice as well as to the ubiquitous violence promoted on television, in video games, and on toy store shelves. It will help participants deepen their commitment to peacemaking while equipping them to become more actively involved in the pursuit of peace and to encourage others to do likewise.
