Orders are processed and dispatched the same day they are placed. Orders placed after 4 PM are processed and dispatched the next business day. Weekend orders are processed on Mondays. What is the difference between Air/Priority shipping and First Class shipping? Air/Priority shipping is a faster service than First Class. Priority packages are delivered on average within 2-3 days, First Class might take longer (depending on your location). If your order weighs more than 13 ounces it automatically qualifies for Air/Priority shipping. To give you an idea, CDs usually weigh 4 oz and 12" vinyl weighs 10 oz. How is shipping calculated? Shipping is calculated according to the weight of the items you ordered. You can take advantage of a lower shipping rate if you choose First Class for fewer items not exceeding 13 ounces. Is there a handling charge for orders? There is a $ 1 handling charge per order which is included in the shipping charge. When is tax applied to my order? Tax (of 8.625 %) applies to your order if it is shipped to a destination within the state of New York. Otherwise no tax is applied. Are there any extra charges on international orders besides shipping & handling? No. Why do I need to put in my e-mail address? We will need an e-mail address to send you a confirmation of your order and notify you once your order is dispatched. When are you running special promotions? We run special promotions frequently. The best way to keep track of special promotions would be to check the store from time to time. Can I pay by money order? Yes you can. Send an e-mail to store@giantstep.net with the items you wish to purchase and we will get back to you with the total amount.
