Body Application : - Apply Acne treatment-Benzoyl Peroxide 5% once a day, night is best, watch not to spill on clothing or carpet as it will bleach the color.
- If you are pulling sleepwear over your head or applying to the body sleep in a cheap clean white cotton tee shirt (men's undershirts are good) every night.
- If acne is not improving in a few weeks increase your applications to twice daily.
If redness, irritation or flaking occur start with Step1 progressing to Step 4 over a period of days or weeks. - Apply Acne treatment-Benzoyl Peroxide 5% to your face for 5-10 minutes then remove with water, once a day.
- Apply for 15-30 minutes before removing.
- Apply for 1-3 hours before removing.
- Apply for 4-8 hours before removing.
- You will eventually build a tolerance to benzoyl peroxide allowing twice daily applications to prevent a break out.
How to dilute benzoyl peroxide over 2.5%- Put a pea size drop in the palm of your hand.
- Mix with an equal amount of water.
- Bend over the sink and apply to the entire area where you normally break out.
- Straight benzoyl peroxide may be applied with a Q-tip to individual lesions over diluted benzoyl peroxide.
