"Kikuyu" is Barry's first solo project for the African Tapestries Collection. It's a montage of images set to music. An African experience to fire one's imagination and to inspire dreams of far away places. Blending vocal and percussion sounds from the Kikuyu tribe of Kenya with other tribes such as the Maasai and Zulus of South Africa, Barry has created a unique and original sound, modern and yet ethnic within its essence.
