2006 MS-69 First Strike Gold Eagles

American Gold Eagles have long been the top gold bullion coin choice among precious metals investors worldwide. Rare coin collectors have helped drive investor demand by collecting high-grade American Eagles by date. Now investors and collectors have one more way to collect these U.S. gold coins: by the earliest ones minted, as designated with a special "First Strike" pedigree.

Goldline is pleased to present the 2006 Gold First Strike American Eagle as graded and certified by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).

Gold First Strike American Eagles carry the standard Gold American Eagle design. The United States Mint borrowed the obverse design from America's most beautiful coin, the $20 Saint-Gaudens. While viewing the Gold First Strike American Eagle coin, you will notice Lady Liberty walking out of the sun toward you. The reverse features a Miley Busiek design of a family of bald eagles.

The PCGS label at the top of the coin's holder carries an American Flag next to the words "First Strike TM" in the upper right hand corner. Like other PCGS labels, the Gold First Strike American Eagle label also declares the date, denomination, type of coin, grade and individual serial number.

PCGS certifies each coin to be a “First Strike”, the proprietary trademark of PCGS for coins delivered by the U.S. Mint within the first 30 days of the initial sales date. As with other non First Strike American Eagles, these gold First Strikes contain one full troy ounce of pure gold.
