The short version:

We accept returns by permission only - just returning something to us does not guarantee that we'll take it back or issue a refund. Call us at 765-884-8165 to make arrangements for the return or exchange.

There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns. The fee is based on the actual price paid for the item.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must obtain an authorization within 7 days of receiving your order. You must return your item within 30 days of receiving your authorization.

The warranty for manufacturer's defect is 30 days. You must obtain an authorization within 30 days of receiving your order. In the case of a defect, you must return the item immediately upon receiving the authorization.

Suits of armor, swords that have been sharpened, clearance items and special order items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Basically, there are only a few types of returns:

The item doesn't fit or wasn't as expected:

We will happily exchange it or take it back for a refund. It must be unworn, unused, unwashed, un-dry-cleaned, untouched, unscuffed and perfect in every way and you must pay for the initial shipping and the cost to ship it back to us.

There is some kind of discrepency in your order:

We will happily exchange it or take it back for a refund. It must be unworn, unused, unwashed, un-dry-cleaned, untouched, unscuffed and perfect in every way and we will pay for the replacement shipping and the cost to send the incorrect item back to us.

We issue the refund or the replacement item when we receive the returned item (not when you ship it - big difference).

Broken items:

If it arrived broken, we'll send you a new one without charging you extra shipping. Although if the damage was inflicted by the shipper (see below), this may require some extra work and time.

If you discover a manufacturer's defect, we'll send you a new one without charging you extra shipping. We will pay to have the new item returned to us, but you will bear the responsibility of re-packaging it properly to send back to us. If we receive it and discover that the item was not defective, you will be notified and, at the least, charged a restocking fee, at the most, charged in full for the damaged item as well as the replacement item.

If you broke it because you were abusing it, you can return it for a new one, but only if you pay to send it back, buy a new one and don't expect a refund for the one you broke.

Restocking fees apply to all returns, except defective items. The fee is 15% of the retail price of the item that is being returned. We reserve the right to not charge a restocking fee.

Damage inflicted by the shipper:

If the box your order arrives in is damaged in ANY way, check the contents inside for damage immediately, preferable before the UPS driver leaves. If that's not possible, KEEP THE BOX, just in case (usually this isn't necessary, but it was once and we like to err on the side of caution.) To make a claim for damaged merchandise, you must call us about the damage within 48 hours of receipt. We will make the claim with UPS, who will contact you to verify the receipt of damaged goods. Once the claim is in motion, we can decide how to proceed.

NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED on suits of armor, clearance items or custom-made items, such as certain swords, any children's clothing and any other item that is made to order. We will let you know when you call whether an item was custom-made, it need not be specified in the description of the item for this to apply. If you want to be sure before you order, please call. If you order a custom-made item and we set the order in motion, but you still decide to cancel, you will NOT receive a refund.

All returns and exchanges will be discussed with you and we will do our very best to make a decision that is agreeable to both parties. We want to make money, but we also want happy customers.

INTERNATIONAL (NON US)

In addition to the policy stated above, INTERNATIONAL (outside the US) shipments that have been returned because they were disallowed by your country's customs will be subject to a restocking fee, which will include the costs of shipping, and the item will not be reshipped to you. If the package is held by your customs and cannot for whatever reason be returned to us, you will receive no refund on either the item or the shipping.

If you want to return or exchange any item for any reason other than manufacturer's defect, be aware that you will pay to ship the item back to us and you will pay the U.S. customs fees. You will also pay the shipping back to you as well as your country's customs fees again.

Since this can be very expensive, we always recommend that you are sure about the size you ordered (there are many size conversion charts on the web). If you have specific questions about the items, feel free to call or email. The only thing we will NOT do is recommend a U.S. size based on your size or measurements. You must do this for yourself.

The right to enforce this policy less severely than stated is entirely at the website owner's discretion. Throwing yourself on our mercy helps.
