Holly Ellsworth, Harley rider and artist, is the only female licensed Harley-Davidson artist. Holly captures the allure of Harley-Davidson through the fascination and innocence of children. Her work appeals, not only to families, but also to the child-like spirit in all of us. Holly's interest in Harley-Davidson motorcycles comes from the rides she took on the back of her fathers Dyna Wide-Glide. As her love for the Harley Experience grew, Holly decided to combine her two favorite means of expressing her individuality. A Sportster owner herself, Holly creates portraits that depict the growing numbers of professionals, women and families who share the Harley-Davidson passion. Holly no longer uses airbrushing; she paints exclusively with brush on canvas. It generally takes Holly about two months at up to twenty hour days to complete a painting. Her meticulous attention to detail is what allows her viewers to experience the wonderment of the children depicted. |
