General
Pricing
and availability are subject to change without notice. House of
Computers has no liability in the case of orders arising from
typographical errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders
without assigning any reasons. Every effort has been made to ensure
accuracy of information listed and House of Computers is not
responsible for any errors contained therein. Quantity limit for
order may apply on certain Items. Once you have placed your
orders it may not be canceled or edited.
Shipping Charges &
Tax
- All our products are shipped by Ground with
shipping charges mentioned on the order page.
- Total
Shipping & Tax can be viewed before final commit to the order by
entering your shipping details on order page.
-Shipping also
includes handling charges (processing bank fees, packaging,
etc.)
Shipping Informations
-If your shipping
address is different than your billing address, please fax copy of
card holder's picture ID with signed authorization to ship order to
the shipping address. Fax # `7147847582 OR you may list the
shipping address by calling the card issuer. Thank You for helping
us to prevent Credit Card Frauds
- For all credit card orders
placed on products in stock, will be shipped out within next 24-48
working hours, subject to credit approval.
- House of
Computers can ship products to any APO / FPO/ PO Box
addresses VIA USPS PRIORITY SERVICES.
- Unless otherwise noted, delivery of special
order items shipped for repair will be make F.O.B. House of
Computers to be paid by the buyer.
-House of Computers will
not be personally liable for any damage (including shipping), loss,
fault or expenses arising out of delays in shipment or other
non-performance of this Agreement caused due to: *Acts of
customer; *Governmental action; *Strikes, fires, disasters,
riots, Acts of God; or
Any other cause or condition
beyond House of computer�s reasonable control in the event of any
such delay or non-performance
-We will ship all orders
through the services provided by UPS and some of USPS.: USPS Ground/PRIORITY, UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day
Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UP Next Day Air
We will
not be responsible for the delay in delivery by UPS service. In the
event of a delay, the Customer Service Department will track the
order with UPS. The accuracy of the address is the responsibility of
the cardholder. We reserve the right to cancel any approved orders
that have different billing information and shipping information.

Address corrections that are made while in transit or
after delivery to a wrong address are expense to the cardholder
credit card as we incur charges from UPS for this
service.
Refused or undeliverable shipments will be subject
to a 20%, in addition to applicable shipping fees, insurance fees,
and any losses incurred by us.
You are responsible for all
other fees and / or charges inclusive but not limited to reroute
fees, any customs, duties, sales, use, value added, excise, federal,
state, local or other taxes, unless stated otherwise on the
invoice.
Extra shipping charges may be applied to orders that
include large size products such as monitors, cases, speakers, and
printers. Our Sales Department will contact you for further details
if this is applicable.
International Orders
-
We do not accept International orders
currently.
Payment
- We accept all major credit
cards including Visa / Master / Amex. There will be no surcharge for
the use of credit cards.
- Cashier�s checks, money orders,
company checks and personal checks are also acceptable as means of
payment. For cashier�s check and money order payments, orders will
be released immediately on receipt of the payment document by House
of Computers. For company and personal check payments, orders will
be shipped only after funds are released from your financial
institution to House of Computers. This could take upto 7 business
days after our receipt of your payment document. On orders being
paid for by means other than credit card, availability of the
product might change while your payment is in transit or funds are
being cleared and House of Computers cannot reserve product or
guaranty continued availability.
All invoice are due and
payable when received. An interest rate of 2% will be added to any
past due account or invoice. There will be a $25.00 service charge
on all returned checks. Any returned check not paid within 30 days,
or any stopped check are subjected to charges equivalent to three
times the amount of the check plus collection fees. Any unpaid
financial charges will void any warranties.
We only take
prepaid Purhase orders (i.e with Check/Money Orders/Credit Card
Number).
Security
Your orders are always
processed through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for 100%
guaranteed secure orders, which is far more secure than traditional
point-of-sales transactions like handing your credit card to a
waiter at a restaurant. When you shop with House of Computers, your
information is protected at all times. We will ONLY use your private
information for internal purposes such as processing your order or
providing customer service.
This site has security measures
in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the
information under our control.
Collection
Fees
Customer agrees to pay all collection fees,
including attorney's fee and accounting costs, if such are
required.
Cancellation, Rufunds, Returns & Replacement
Policy
CLAIMS MADE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF
PURCHASE - Once the order is placed can be cancelled only if
cutomer agrees and pay *20% restocking fee -*No refund for
shipping & handling charges once the item is shipped. We offer no refund on shipping and handling at all including defective, wrong items and all others. * CLAIM SHOULD BE APPLIED WITH IN
SEVEN DAYS OF THE DATE OF ORDER. - Shipping and Handling charges
and Deposits are non refundable. - A 20% restocking fee will be
charged on all refundable items with in seven days of
purchase.
CLAIMS MADE AFTER SEVEN DAYS OF PURCHASE
- Absolutely no refunds/cancellation/returns after 7 days for any
kind of claim.
Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA)
All claims for shortage, manufacturers' defects,
shipment error, incompatibility, or incorrectly ordered merchandise
must be made within Seven (10) calendar days from the invoice date.
And are valid only subject to approval from Manufacturer or Shipping
Carrier.
-Please call 17142571027 for a Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA #) and ship fully insured with freight
charges prepaid by the buyer. Returns without an RMA # and a copy of
the original will not be accepted. Once issued, RMA numbers are
valid for 15 days only. All return products must be received by
hoct.com within the period stated. A copy of the invoice must be
included in the package. We reserve the option to accept or
reject non-defective returns.
-All Merchandise/return must be
in good working order with all the original packing including manual
and software diskettes. Labor costs, programming and other service
related costs and special order items are non
refundable.
-Items returned in used or altered condition
will not be accepted.
You will be solely responsible for
paying all return freight costs and insurance either defective or
non-defective merchandise. It is recommended that all returns be
made via a traceable carrier such as UPS or Certified Mail as
hoct.com is not responsible for items that are misdirected or lost
in shipment. We do not accept any shipments without a valid RMA.
Merchandise is subject to testing before replacement will be
issued.
-Defective merchandise/product is shipped to the manufacturer upon receipt. Product remains at manufacturer's location until resolved. Product then is returned to us and shipped tp customer via standard service
It can take 15 to 60 days to complete the whole process. As soon as we receive the repaired product, we will ship it out. We reserve the
right to return to you any non-defective merchandise or any
merchandise that does not match the invoice. You will be responsible
for all related charges such as shipping, insurance, testing, and
handling fee on this matter.
We reserve the option to require
that defective merchandise returns be accompanied by a test report
from an independent laboratory in order to receive a refund, credit,
or replacement on merchandise.
We reserve the right to issue
credits or refunds in exchange for returned merchandise, or to
replace merchandise with new or repaired, used, or reconditioned
parts.
All credits will be issued within 15 business days
once we confirm that this is the only solution to solve your
return.
All non-defective merchandise returns are subject to
twenty percent (20%) restocking fee or current market value at
hoct.com's discretion.
All non-product related fees such
as shipping, transaction, payment processing, and insurance are not
refundable. Our liability shall be limited to the invoiced value of
the merchandise or its replacement.
Defective
Products / Wrong Item.
Defective products and wrong items (not incompatible items) will be accepted only for
replacement or repair, at our discretion, within 7 days from the
invoice date. Shipping and handling is non- refundable on defective and wrong items. Our technical support department prior to issuing a
return authorization must deem a defective product so. Manufacturer
restrictions do apply and are outlined in our return policy. Terms
of the manufacturer's warranty apply from day one
If
merchandise arrives damaged, it is best to refuse it back to
the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure
it is noted on the carrier�s delivery record in order for us to file
a damage claim. Save the merchandise in the original box and packing
it arrived in, notify us immediately to arrange for a carrier
inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify
House of Computers of damaged goods within the first 7 days of
arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of
damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.
Claims are valid only subject to approval from Shipping
Carrier.
Warranty Information policy
All
warranties begin from the date of invoice.
Original Invoice must be required for all warranty service by House of Computers. All motherboards, computer components, and peripherals have a 15 day warranty through hoct.com. Additional Warranty issues arising must be taken up with directly with the manufacturers.
All CPUs and Memory Modules have a
"replacement only" warranty and must be returned for exchange within
the warranty period assigned to each brand and type of CPU with in
15 days from date of invoice. All OEM CPU's carry a 14 day warranty ONLY! Retail CPU's are covered by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover abuse, broken or bent pins, and burnt CPU's. We are not responsible for any accidents that occur during installation of CPU purchased by customer.
Product is shipped to the manufacturer upon receipt. Product remains at manufacturer's location until resolved. Product then is returned to us and shipped via standard service. It reduces time to send directly to Manufacturer for warranty issues. Additional warranties, if any, will be through the
manufacturer.
All software or Hardware warranties regarding
compatibility with other hardware or software products,
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, or the ability
of a product to meet the customers needs, are granted solely by the
publisher or manufacturer of the products. House of computers is not
responsible for any compatibilty issue.
Merchandise must be
returned in original condition including packaging, documentation,
warranty cards, manuals, and accessories.
No warranty by
hoct.com shall apply to any merchandise, which have been modified or
damaged by the customer. Merchandise that is defective due to
misuse, neglect, or improper installation is not covered under the
warranty. We are not responsible for any damages incurred to
customer's equipment or data resulting from an improper
installation.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
INFORMATION
Our Technical Support Department will do its
best to answer all pre-sales and post-sales questions. Due to the
variety of the product categories, brands and manufacturers,
technical specifications and standards, we do not guarantee the
support and advice provided by our department will work in each
case. Your may be required to seek assistance from the
manufacturers' technical support
Reasonable fees shall be
charge for any service perform beyond that require of House of
Computer under the warranty. Repair not covered by warranty are
billable. Software configurations and other software related
services are also billable.
Limitation of
Liability
In no event shall we be responsible for
incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, income
or profits, arising out of or in connection with this agreement
including, without limitation, breach of any obligation imposed on
us hereunder or in connection herewith, even if we have been advised
of the possibility of such damages.
Product descriptions
posted on our product pages are generated from the manufacturers or
our suppliers. Please note that actual products may differ slightly
from picture. House of Computer sell to end users only. We are not responsible for typographical, pricing,
product information, advertising or shipping errors. Advertised
prices and available quantities are subject to change without
notice.
In no event shall we be liable for any programs or
data stored in or used in conjunction with any merchandise sold, the
cost associated with recovering such programs or data, or any
incompatibilities between the merchandise sold and any hardware or
software used by the customer.
In no event shall we be liable
for any expenses incurred by the customer for any installation done
by someone other than us.
In no event shall hoct.com have
liability (whether under the theories of breach of contract or
warranty, negligence or strict liability) in excess of the purchased
price paid for the goods.
