 Rectangular shaped Japanese egg omelett pan measures 7 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches and 13 1/2 inches long including the plastic handle. This rectangular shaped aluminum pan is coated with a non stick surface for making Japanese sweet omelettes in.
TAMAGO RECIPE:
1/3 cup warm water,
1/4 tsp. Hondashi (Japanese instant soup base),
6 eggs,
3 Tbsp. sugar,
1 Tbsp. Mirin (sweet cooking sake).
Mix Hondashi in the water to dissolve. Mix with remaining ingredients and beat gently to mix. Cook on medium heat using a little oil if desired. Yields 2 tamago omelettes.
