 Aerospace technology, which gave Louisville Slugger most of the aluminum alloys used in the manufacturing of bats, continues to be an inspiration to Louisville Slugger engineers. TPX Armor features a matrix material coating, a proprietary combination of metal and ceramic, which is also used in jet engines. The metal portion of this ultra had coating gives you the performance you expect, while the hard ceramic reduces wear and tear experienced in typical field play. This bat meets all College and High School Bat Standards.
