and enhanced by Louisville Slugger engineers, Scandium XS alloy
undergoes a proprietary heat treatment by Louisville Slugger, which
maximizes the overall design, performance and durability of Scandium
XS. This bat is designed for players between 13 and 15 years of age as
well as younger players whose leagues allow bat diameters larger than 2
1/4". Designed for players transitioning from a youth bat to a league
that allows "big barrel bats", but may not be ready for a 2 3/4inch
barrel bat.
