Description

Made in Ireland by JMH Jewelry of Dublin, a small family business which takes great pride in creating Irish-made Celtic and claddagh jewelry. These solid sterling silver cufflinks with Celtic lettering are a special way for those of Irish descent, the world over, to remember their heritage.

Around the face of the cuff link are engraved the Irish Gaelic words "IS D'ÉIRINN MÉ" and the back of the cuff link is engraved with their translation in English "I am of Ireland".

Designed by Michael Hilliard, one of Ireland's leading jewelry designers, these cuff links are inspired by a 14th century Irish verse: "Ichaun of Irlande, ant of the holy londe of Irlande. Gode Sir pray ich ye, For of saynte charite, Come ant dance wyt me in Irlande." Translated into modern English, the old Irish verse reads: "I am of Ireland, and of the holy land of Ireland. Good sir, pray I thee, for holy charity, Come and dance with me in Ireland."

These cufflinks make a meaningful gift for those "of Ireland" who live today in every corner of the world...

Sterling silver. Assayed and hallmarked at Dublin Castle, Ireland. Boxed.
