Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge," and recent studies indicate that creative experiences with the arts can enhance a child's psychological growth and school performance.
Furthermore, art adds an important human dimension to our lives. It teaches us about ourselves, our culture and the culture of others like no other subject can.
Expression through art is often more effective than the use of words as a means of communicating ideas and emotions. The common language of art can bring people together across diverse cultures, religions and ages--a benefit not to be overlooked in our complex world.
