I took this photo in 1989 off the grand Banks.

Working on longliners as a commercial fisherman, I took this photo while the Andrea Gail crew wave thank you as they borrowed 100 flourescent light sticks as they ran out. We always were willing to swap and lend supplies to other boats on the Grand Banks. Someone once told me to save all of my negatives and catalogue them. You never know when a photo could be famous. Of course the "Andrea Gail" was lost with its crew in October 1991 storm made famous by the book/movie The Perfect Storm. This is one of the only photos of the Andrea Gail at sea.

The actual photo print is in good detail with the name and numbers clearly visible. The three crew members on deck have not been identified as of yet. I donated this photo to the Perfect storm Foundation to use on theirweb site and the are trying to put names on the faces.
