It was made in XiAn.(North of china). It is reproduction from the factory who were the best duplicator in XiAn, China. The Terracotta Army was discovered in 1974, when peasants digging a well during a drought uncovered some clay warriors. The excavation site is in Lintong County, a few miles distant from the actual burial mound of Qin Shi Huangdi , the first emperor. About 6,000 figures have been standing here by the tomb of the emperor for over 2,000 years. This is the first vault. The second and third vaults, which contain additional 2,000 figures of men and horses, were discovered in 1976. The figures are of larger than life size. Each has different facial feature, how the hairstyles and details of uniform vary according to the army rank, and the contrast between the standing and kneeling soldiers.
