We usually only charge an order once shipped, an initial "authorization" is placed on your card to verify funds are available and that the information provided matches the card. The "authorization" will clear from your account in 2 - 4 days. Debit cards may put a hold on these funds until the order is processed.

Shipping:
Most orders (about 90%) are shipped within 72hrs (Mon-Fri) but may take much longer. If you need it by a certain date please specify the date needed in the comments section upon checkout. This does not guarantee it will arrive in time, only that we will contact you if it won't arrive in time. Please allow 7-10 days for most deliveries. Shipping times vary depending which warehouse is used to fulfill your order. Most shipments are sent from our Arizona warehouse, but it is possible that your order may be sent from California, PA, FL, Iowa or Nevada. Please plan ahead when placing your orders; we are doing everything possible to keep prices as low as we can. We NEVER upgrade shipping for delayed orders.

Shipping specials are not available for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO address or internationally.
UPS charges a special handling fee when addresses are not correct. You agree to pay this fee (which will be charged
separately to your credit card) should you provide an incorrect shipping address. If your package is refused or returned back to sender because the shipping information is incorrect in anyway, you agree to pay the actual shipping charge for the initial shipping plus the return shipping.
Orders Placed by Mail:
If you wish to send us your order by mail, note there is an additional $10 processing fee. Be sure to include your name, address, telephone number, email address and the items you would like to order. Include your e-mail address if you would like to be notified by e-mail when your order is shipped. Please include Certified Check or Money Order for the total amount of the purchase including shipping and processing fee. No personal checks are accepted. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO addresses:
All orders to Alaska or Hawaii, Puerto Rico or an APO/FPO address are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Light packages will be shipped at the special prices. Additional shipping charges may be required to send certain items/orders to these locations. If an additional shipping fee is required, you may be notified by e-mail with more information. We will proceed with your order upon your approval of additional costs required to ship your order to your location. If your address cannot be verified with United States Postal Service an additional $10 fee may be applied. You may use their Click n Ship Program to verify the address. This mainly applies to addresses in PR.
International Orders:
All international orders (United Kingdom) are shipped UPS Express, except shipments going to Canada which are shipped UPS Standard. A minimum shipping charge will be calculated at the time you place your order ($85 for UK and $29 for Canada). Insurance is included in the shipping and handling fee. Additional shipping charges may be required to send certain items/orders to these locations. If an additional shipping fee is required, you may be
notified by e-mail with the any additional fees that may be required. You may decide at that time if you want the order to proceed.
International purchasers are responsible for any customs, import/duty or any other fees required by your government. Martial Arts Enterprises, Inc. does not calculate or add such charges to said order.
International purchasers agree to assist Martial Arts Enterprises, Inc. in making insurance claims if you claim your package was lost by the postal service or your customs agency.
International purchasers agree to pay all return shipping charges if customs rejects the product you have ordered into your country.
Canada restricts most of the weapons we sell. We are sorry, but no knives, swords, pepper spray, kubotans or anything even resembling a weapon will pass your customs. Canadian customs are no doubt the worst customs in the world to deal with.
Shipments outside the US have no guarantees of any kind. When I say no guarantees it means that you pay for the item even if it gets confiscated. If they send it back we can try to reship or send you a refund minus shipping charges. Be sure you understand that some countries have import restrictions on some of the products that we sell. so even if we are permitted by US Customs to export a product to you it still may not be legal for you to receive the product. We highly recommend that you contact your local Customs agent and ask directly about local laws and import restrictions before considering an order for any self defense product. Failure to do so could result in your package being seized by your local Customs agency and possible fines imposed. The buyer assumes all risk.
Freight coupons and discounts are not available for International orders.
Sales Tax:
Currently, only orders originating in, or shipped to Arizona addresses are subject to our collection of sales tax. Reporting and payment of Customs fees, Import fees, State, local, or other taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the merchandise buyer or user.
Returns and Exchanges:
It is our goal to make sure you get what you want. Please take extra care in sizing. We have provided sizing charts where possible.
New merchandise (not washed, worn, altered or soiled, and suitable for resale) may be returned for
exchange or refund. Merchandise must be returned with all documentation in the original container. No returns or exchanges are accepted on custom, discontinued, remedy, or nutritional products. Videos that have been opened (shrink wrap removed) cannot be returned. Defective videos will be exchanged for the same title only.
Requests for returns or exchanges must be made within 10 days of receiving your order. For all returns and exchanges, send an e-mail to:
Include your order number, name, phone number, and what you would like to exchange or return. Our customer service department will contact you as soon as possible to assist you with the appropriate method for filling your needs. At that time we will assign you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days. Martial Arts Enterprises, Inc. will not accept packages for return or exchange without the appropriate RMA number clearly marked on the shipping label.
Returns for Credit:
All items returned for credit are subject to a 15% restocking fee, except Electronic Muscle Stimulators, which are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Credit is given for the price of the merchandise only, less applicable restocking fees and actual shipping costs.
Returns for Exchange:
Items returned for exchange are not subject to a restocking fee. A handling fee of $4.00 plus actual shipping costs will be charged to the credit card used for the original order.

Security:
MartialMart is hosted by Yahoo! Stores. Transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and then decoded when it gets to Yahoo! Our fulfillment department then obtains the orders using a secure interface.
Phone security is also important. If you call our phone number, you are not talking to someone on a cordless phone wandering through their house or retail store, where the radio transmission may be easily heard. If you have a wireless phone, please don't use it when talking to any vendor about your credit card number. It may be overheard.

Important Information - Martial Arts Products
Weapons are sold for training only under expert supervision, for demonstration of forms, collection, or display. Some weapons may be illegal in your area; user must research and follow state and local laws. Martial Arts Enterprises or any associate of this website are not responsible for improper or illegal use or modification of Martial Arts weapons. Weapons training requires: appropriate safety gear, including head, face, eye, and mouth protection and other guards and suitable for the particular weapon and techniques being practiced and a safe training environment set up to avoid injury to people or objects. To decrease chances of injury, user should respect weapon(s), inspect them before each use to insure they are in proper condition and not use them for sparring or contact. Weapons will not be sold to anyone under 18 years of age.
MartialMart recommends that instructors limit children and beginners to the use of foam rubber or foam-covered practice weapons and/or wooden blades.
Training equipment and accessories: users should consult physicians before beginning an exercise program; train only under the supervision of a qualified instructor who insures that equipment is in good condition and responsibly monitors students and drills; and know and respect their own limitations.
Sparring gear is intended to reduce the risk and severity of accidental injury to protected areas during supervised, no contact or light contact martial arts sparring. It is for martial arts sparring only and not for other more intense uses. (e.g., full contact sparring, boxing, bag work, weapons training, other sports activities or uses, etc.). It is only for use under the supervision of a skilled instructor who responsibly monitors techniques and intensity of sparring and assures that students are properly trained and physically conditioned. All sparring participants should wear full sets of equipment and not use old, modified, damaged or improperly fitted equipment.
Restriction of Services - Prosecution of Fraud
If a party is determined to abuse this site in any way including: merchandise return policies, misuse of credit or instruments, abuse of infrastructure including e-mail spam or telephone spam, fraudulent reports, hostile and threatening, that party may be refused future services. Martial Arts Enterprises, Inc. prosecutes all credit card fraud to the fullest extent of the law, and cooperates with international law enforcement in the apprehension and prosecution of credit fraud.
The customer agrees that if any attempt is made by the ordering party to interfere with the rightful collection of funds from the credit card company or bank will cause substantial administration fees in collecting said amounts. A minimum additional fee of $75.00 will be charged for collection activities, in addition to applicable attorney's fees.
Martial Arts Enterprises, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason, with or without cause, and reserves the right to prohibit or restrict access to the services to anyone at any time, with or without cause.
Clearance items: Clearance item orders are filled first come/first serve. Quantities are limited and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
Choice of law
If any action is brought forth to enforce contract, site use, including license to use or view site, or as a result of any transaction, or agreement, Arizona law will be the choice of jurisdiction and law for all parties.
