  
Inspired by Japanese colored porcelain of the 17th and 18th century, Chinese imari is characterized by brightly glazed colors with sharp contrast. The drawings in the lozenges are copies of embroidered pictures of the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties (960-1644 AD). The drawings include plums, orchids, chrysanthemums, bamboo, dragons, phoenixes, cranes, and other flowers, birds, and rare animals.
This porcelain table lamp includes a fabric shade and brass finial. Three-way switch can accomodate a 50/100/150-watt bulb. Lamp base imported from China; lamp assembled in U.S.A. 29" H.
