  
Shiva Mahadev symobolizes inner balance. He is the Lord of creation and destruction, here in his aspect of yogi-ascetic. Lotus-seated upon a tiger skin, Mahadev's third eye is focused in meditation as he dispassionately oversees the creation and disintegration of the material universe. From his matted locks springs the Ganges, and around his neck is a serpent naga of protection.
This 2" sculpture is cast by hand out of an ivory substitute material which is warm to the touch and very durable. Microscopic glass beads in the material add weight and shine. It can be cleaned with mild soap and water. You will be amazed at the intricate detail.
A unique feature of this sculpture, you can actually put a stick of incense in Shiva's water pot!
