  
 Hanuman, the monkey god, was an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He features in the Hindu epic, The Ramayana, as the servant of Ram and the embodiment of service, devotion, and humility.
The Hanuman statue (shown at left) is located in the Hanuman Temple on the banks of the Ganga on Kashi Ashram.
