The Yahoo! Store account login system has changed. You now log into your store manager/editor using a Yahoo! ID and password.
We're doing this to provide you with greater account security, and in order to bring you some exciting new features in the coming weeks (including increased distribution opportunities).
This change requires you (and anyone who accesses your store account) to go through a quick one-time login merge process to connect their Yahoo! ID to your store account.
This change will not affect your customers at all. It only affects the way you access your store manager/editor.

Here's what you'll need to do:
- Go to the Yahoo! Store front page and select the link that says, "Yahoo! Store login has changed. Returning Yahoo! Store users, sign in for the first time since the change."
- You'll be prompted to enter your store account name and password.
- You'll connect that account to your Yahoo! ID.
- If you already have a Yahoo! ID you'll be asked to confirm it.
- If you don't have a Yahoo! ID, you'll be prompted to create one.
- You'll be prompted to create a Yahoo! Security Key in order to access the secure areas of your site - like the Orders area.
This new login will not change the name of your store, the default URL
(store.yahoo.com/accountname), or your store order ID. This will only affect the
way you log in to your store.
- Each person who accesses your store Manager (i.e. a partner, designer, or customer care rep) should do so using their own Yahoo! ID.
You can either ask each person to go through the login merge process, or you can give them access simply by adding their Yahoo! ID to the Access page in your store Manager once you've merged. (Look for the Access link in the Site Settings column on the Manager page.)
- Take care when creating your Security Key. If you forget your key, you'll be
asked to verify the information you provided when you created it. For tips on
choosing a good key, see Choosing a Security Key.
For more information about the Merge, see the Merge Info page.
