About the Author
Larry Shepard began working for DaimlerChrysler in 1966. By 1970 he had moved over as staff engineer for DaimlerChrysler's drag racing programs. In 1980, he took all the racing and testing knowledge gained in the race group and moved into the Direct Connection high-performance parts program. He retired after 35 years at DaimlerChrysler and writing performance books now takes up most of his time. Larry lives in Michigan with his wife, Linda.
