Affiliate Program

Terms and Conditions of New Orleans Showcase Affiliate Program.

1. We will review the web sites for all Affiliates who participate in this program, and we reserve the right to deny (or terminate) participation by any Affiliate for any reason, including but not limited to, a potential Affiliate whose web site contains objectionable material (please, no adult-oriented sites).
2. We reserve the right to cancel the Affiliate Program at any time. In the unlikely event of cancellation, we will notify all participating Affiliates and make final payment of all commissions due.
3. New Orleans Showcase will not charge its Affiliates to participate in this program.
4. Affiliate is free to cancel participation in this program at any time. Within 30 days of cancellation, New Orleans Showcase will pay Affiliate for any commissions due. However, in the event that the amount of commissions then due is less than $5, then such amount will be forfeited and the Affiliate will not receive any payment.
5. Affiliates earn commissions for sales to customers who transfer directly from the Affiliate's web site to the New Orleans Showcase web site using the unique link name that we provide to you. The unique link name that we provide to you is the only way that our software can track your sales. If a customer leaves our web site for any reason prior to completing his order, and then returns directly to our site (i.e. without navigating through the link on your site to our site), we will not be able to track his subsequent purchase and therefore you will not receive a commission on such sale.
6. We calculate and pay commissions quarterly. You earn a commission equal to 6% of net sales (i.e. gross sales less any returns and discounts).
7. We will only pay quarterly commissions when you have earned $30 or more. In the event that you have earned less than $30 at the end of any quarterly computing period, this amount will automatically be carried over to the next quarter. For example, if in your first quarter you generate $400 in sales, your commission earned will be $24.00. Since this is less than the $30.00 minimum, you will not receive a check that quarter. If you generate $5,000 in sales in the next quarter, you will earn $300 in commissions for the second quarter. Since the total of the $300 generated for the second quarter, plus the $24 carried over from the first quarter is greater than $30, you will receive a check for the total earned ($324.00).
8. Your quarterly period begins on the day that we notify you of acceptance in the program. Quarterly calculations are performed as soon as possible after the end of each quarter, and checks are mailed to you within 30 days after the end of each quarter.
9. Any affiliate who has not earned commissions of at least $10 during their first year of participation will be reviewed and their account is automatically subject to cancellation.
10. We reserve the right to change any of the terms and conditions associated with this program at any time.
11. Affiliate sales are tracked by Yahoo!Store. In the event of any question regarding the calculation of affiliate sales and commissions, the Yahoo!Store will provide the final determination.
12. IRS regulations require that certain payments be reported on form 1099 each year. In general, we are required to report payments to Affiliates who earn over $600 in any calendar year, unless the Affiliate meets one of the IRS's exceptions. In January of each year, we will send additional information to any Affiliates who may be affected by the IRS's regulations.
