Robert Burns King, the organ instructor at UNC Greensboro, college organist at Elon College and organist of First Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, was the first American to receive the Prix de Virtuosité from the Schola Cantorum of Paris, where he studied with Langlais and Duruflé. He holds music degrees from Furman University and Union Theological Seminary, New York.

|  |  | Robert Setzer Plays the Skinner at Rollins College The contract for the organ at Knowles Memorial Chapel at Rollins in Winter Park, Florida, was signed with the Skinner Organ Company in 1931 for 37 stops, 34 ranks on three manuals. It was rebuilt in 1956, 1957, and 1963-64 by Aeolian-Skinner to have 69 ranks on three manuals, during Catherine Crozier's tenure as organist. Robert Setzer entered Rollins as an organ major shortly after World War II. He played this recital in 1968, shortly after the organ was completed by Aeolian-Skinner and before a Trompette-en-Chamade was added by Wicks in 1982, and has now made the recording available on CD so that the documented sounds can be preserved and serve to garner interest in the organ's repair and, perhaps, restoration, for which funds are now being raised, we are told.
