La Crosse Technology produced this special version of their extremely popular WS-9035U for Discovery Channel. Discovery Channel sold it as their Weathertech FX6000. Functionally the Discovery Channel FX6000 and the La Crosse Technology WS-9035U (which is no longer available from La Crosse) are identical. The display and the remote sensors are the same. The difference is that the Discovery Channel FX6000 was built with a body that looked similar to the WS-9075U, and comes with Discovery Channel markings and packaging.
