In late 1999 I was asked to launch a weekly craft column for the Arizona Republic. I hadn't really ventured out from the art style you see on this web site, but I thought, "what the heck?". Now, almost four years later, my craft column runs in 50 papers every week on the Gannett News Service wire. Each week I get wonderful letters from creative people all over the country - they all inspire me!

It also led to my venture in authoring craft books and doing craft demonstrations on televsion. I've shared tips and ideas on several Phoenix stations, such as KTVK TV 3, KNXV Ch 15 and every week on KPNX Ch 12!

You can see me on three new shows on the DIY Network. Craft Lab, Uncommon Threads and Jewelry Making. Until then, I'm working away to bring you a new project every week. You can see them all on CraftyChica.com, there's even online video of me doing craft projects too! Hope you like it!
