The Seat Belt Release Protector is a patented cover for a seat belt buckle that secures an infant or toddler’s car seat in place. The SRP prevents the accidental unbuckling of the vehicle’s restraint system, but does not interfere with the seat belt itself. It is easy to install by simply sliding the open end of the SRP over the head of the seat belt after the car seat has been installed correctly. You can slide the SRP over the buckle head after the buckle has been fastened or before it has been fastened, whichever is easier in your vehicle. The SRP is very easy to remove in an emergency and is meant to act as a deterrent to accidental release of the seat belt by another rear seat passenger, or the toddlers themselves. Proper driver supervision is always required and the driver should always check to ensure that the seat belt is still properly engaged. Sold in a convenient 2 pack.
