  Meet Vice President of Men’s Apparel and our friend, DOUG CONKLYN.
“Serious menswear that doesn’t take itself too seriously” is how Doug Conklyn, Vice President, Men’s Apparel, pictured at left with Lilly-loving daughter Elly, describes the Summer debut of the Lilly Pulitzers® men’s collection. “It was very important to me that the men’s collection not only capture the spirit and heritage of Lilly and Palm Beach, but that every piece was crafted of the finest possible quality and given extraordinary attention to detail…this was truly a labor of love.” Signature details such as custom-dyed tipping and slip-stitch thread in the hand-made neckwear, exclusive printed linings and trims in the half-canvas sport coats and distinctive grosgrain taping in the two-ply pima polo shirts are just some of the touches that separate the Lilly Pulitzer men’s collection from other brands. Of course, the most obvious characteristic of the new collection is the liberal use of print and color, both hallmarks of Lilly Pulitzer. “Our guy is a peacock,” says Doug, “he revels in being the life of the party and now he’ll have the clothes to match!”
