One good way of making sure your customers know where you stand on the issue of privacy is to join a privacy seal program. Many stores display these seals, including some of the most prominent shopping destinations on the Web.

BBBOnline
An extension of the Better Business Bureau, this seal program carries with it the well-known and trusted name of the Better Business Bureau.

TRUSTe
Currently the largest privacy seal program, TRUSTe counts Yahoo!, AOL, Microsoft, Disney, Excite, and eBay among their approximately 2,000 licensees.
