This 1:144 scale B-29 Super Fortress dropped the first atomic bomb in combat on August 6th 1945. The spcially trained crew of the 509th Composite group was led by Colonel Paul Tibbets. The plane now resides in the National Air and Space Museum. This highly accurate die cast replica was made from a new casting. |
