Foundational Faith Formation Blest Are We Junior High Edition—Parish and School Blest Are We for levels 7 and 8, offer two interchangeable texts—The Story of Jesus and The Story of the Church— giving you the flexibility to meet the different needs for school, catechetical programs, and youth ministry programs. Student Texts Each student text includes twenty core chapters of foundational faith formation for young teens along with a special Feasts and Seasons section. Catechist/Teacher Guides Each easy-to-use guide has helpful background information, teaching tips, and follows a lesson plan that includes engaging activities and both formal and informal assessment. In addition, school guides include cross-curricular activities, a celebrating Catholic schools section for Catholic Schools Week and an end-of-the-year prayer service. Resources Classroom Activities In addition to the many activities in the student text and teacher/catechist edition, this booklet contains 58 more activities. Unit Projects Long-term projects engage the students in learning and working with other students. Tests/Assessment The student text contains chapter reviews, unit organizers, and unit reviews. An additional Tests booklet of black line masters for school use provides chapter tests, unit tests, feasts and seasons test, and end-of year tests, using ExamView® technology. For parishes, additional unit tests are provided in the Unit Tests black line master book. Music CDs Each CD contains a program theme song, unit songs and more.
